Varsity Operation - 17th Airborne Division I English Version I

March 24th, 1945, paratroopers of the 6th British and 17th U.S Airborne Division performed a combat jump over the Rhine River in Germany, code-named Operation Varsity. This successful operation helped the allied forces to put an end to the war in Europe.

This short video clip is dedicated to all the men who took part in this operation and for those who were never returned home. May we never forget their sacrifice.

Florent Plana & Orian Ziad, are looking for more veterans involved in this operation in order to capture their story. They are producing a documentary dedicated to the men of the 17th Airborne Division who bravely fought during WWII.
