Duke patients discuss their pre-op experience. Then you’ll learn about your preoperative preparation which may take place in person or over the phone. The POSH program – preop testing for seniors – is also highlighted. You’ll understand the questions you’ll be asked, possible tests you may have to undergo and review your health history, and how to get ready for surgery. This will include what you need to do the night before or the morning of your surgery.
