Lynnwood graffiti removal program launches to deal with persistent crime
Lynnwood has launched its first-ever graffiti abatement program to deal with an ongoing crime that can be costly in both time and money for property owners to remove.
The graffiti cleanup program began a week and a half ago and after city officials realized there needed to be another approach to this prevalent issue.
The program could benefit Star Fruits & Vegetables, a mainstay in Lynnwood for more than two decades. Customers who showed up to this popular produce market found it covered in graffiti on Wednesday.
