New to hula hooping? Then this is a great workout to help you ease into it. We move slowly between the moves throughout, getting a great workout for the abs, obliques and arms.
If moving your arms while hooping is too much, then you can always concentrate on simply waist hooping for the duration on the video. Repeat it and every time you will notice the movements becoming easier!
Remember not to be too hard on yourself if it doesn’t work first time. We all had to start somewhere and improvement comes with practice.
We hoop on both sides, which if you haven’t done before, may feel strange. If you need to you can just spend the time simply waist hooping in neutral.
In this video we will…
💥 Hula hoop for 10 minutes
💥 Start slow and softly build the pace
💥 Hoop on both sides
💥 Exercise and strengthen the abs, obliques and arms
Warm up and cool down.
I have not included any warm up or cool down in this video. However I advise that you do this before and after your hula hoop workout.

Which Hoop?
This is great workout for using weighted hula hoops. However you can equally use your favourite heavy dance hoop.
Mine is 110cm in diameter with a metal core. It weighs 1.3kg.
