The BEST Conchas Mexicanas | Pan Dulce Mexicano | Mexican Sweet Bread

Conchas Mexicanas! This is better than your bakery easy step by step recipe. One of the most popular sweetbreads/ Pan Dulces in Mexico and in Mexican families. I'm grateful to be able to share my family's recipe with you. The 2.0 recipe is a traditional texture that we all love to dip in our coffee or milk. Please let me know how this recipe works for you.

Bake time: 350 Degrees for 20-22 Minutes

Ingredients
3 Cups of Bread Flour
1/3 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Warm Milk
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Tablespoon Shortening
1 Tablespoon Mexican Vanilla Blend
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Tablespoons Active Dry Yeast
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon or 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
Topping Ingredients
1 Cup Ap Flour
1 Cup Confectioners Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Tablespoon Butter Shortening
Food Coloring of Choice
