HOW TO MAKE CONCHAS MEXICANAS | PAN DULCE
Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you how to make the perfect, soft and fluffy conchas!!!! Let me tell you that I’m very proud of this recipe! I’m not a baker But I enjoy baking for my family specially because this happens to be my favorite sweet bread, this recipe took a lot of wasted flour to get it to perfection 😅 but I’m very proud that I was able to do it and now I’m here sharing it with you all ! Ingredients: bake at 325*F for 18-20 minutes
Make sure you let your dough rise double it’s size, this is the most important step of this recipe!. Makes about 10-12 conchas
4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp active yeast
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp anise extract
1 tbsp vanilla blend
1 egg at room temperature
8 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1 cup evaporated milk temperature between 120-130
Topping: vanilla ( if you choose to make both just cut each recipe in half)
7 tbsp unsalted butter at room temp
3/4 cup powder sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla blend
Chocolate:
7 tbsp unsalted butter at room temp
1/2 cup powder sugar
3/4 cup flour
2 tbsp Hershey’s cocoa
1 serving of love 💕
