There's nothing I adore more than a bad woman. A beautiful shiny glossy outside with a rotten poison core. They are the most enjoyable performances to watch and almost always, no matter how bad, I kind of want them to get away with it.

I love my femme fatale tribute video but I felt that was more about the relationships and all the heroines had a sense of tragedy. This video incorporates more than just noir films to showcase the baddest of the bad. There are plenty more 'femme fatales' but many of them I don't think are evil (they just look 'bad'). GILDA is the best example of this-- what did she do wrong except have an affair and have these men be obsessed with owning her? I have wanted to make a video to this song since I was a teenager and now, in procrastinating, I finally have been able to.

Unfortunately not all these films are viewed with equal merit, and thus the quality of surviving copies varies greatly. Please forgive the poor prints especially on films like BLONDE ICE and THE UNHOLY WIFE.

Finally a shout out to all these fantastic actresses who are not only beautiful but talented and have made being a classic movie fan so rewarding.
