Roscoe, NY to Alder Lake - September 22, 2023 - short version

Fall in the Catskills is a wonderful time. Lower temperatures, fewer insects, wide-open roads, and some colorful trees. This was taken at the start of the Fall Foliage season so only a few trees have turned colors but they looked great. We started in Roscoe then headed towards Livingston Manor via Old Route 17. We swung by the Beaverkill Covered Bridge for a stop (look for my video of drone footage shot there) then continued on to Alder Lake. It's a man-made lake created by a railroad tycoon and was a Boy Scout camp when I was there in the 1960s. More information on my drone video from our visit.
