Summer Solstice 2023: Act 4 "Jazz it Out"

For Act 4 of Summer Solstice 2023, singer and composer Anamika Chowdhury presented a fusion of Bihu songs originating from Assam, and jazz music. With sprightly melodies that invigorated the mid-afternoon, this performance celebrated the union between music from the West and India.

South Asian Arts-uk (SAA-uk) is a registered charity that was set up in 1997 by Ustad Dharambir Singh MBE to preserve the art of South Asian classical music and dance.
