3 Day Workout Split | Breaking Down a 3 Day Training Routine for an Intermediate Lifter

In this video I break down a three-day training split that would work well for an intermediate lifter moving from a hypertrophy focussed phase towards a more strength focussed phase.

Breaking down a program like this is a great way to cover some important concepts that may be relevant to your training, but it’s important to remember that a program is much more than a list of exercises, and this is really more of a program skeleton.

This program has a powerlifting foundation, with each day built around either a squat, press or deadlift, but the approach to the accessory movements is different than a traditional powerlifting program, and would work well for someone with broad or varied goals including some physique changes in addition to getting stronger.
