HUGE BIRTHDAY BURGER CAKE For The Boy Who Doesn't Like Cake ! Homemade Burger, Milk Bread & Ketchup.

My little boy doesn't eat cake, or sweets for that matter. So every birthday he blows out the candles and doesn't get to enjoy the cake. This year is different. I decided to make him a HUGE Homemade Birthday Cake with a difference...it's a BURGER Birthday Cake !

First I made the burger bun using a Milk Bread Recipe, the details of which are in the video. The Milk Bread Method is simple and only differs from normal bread by making the flour paste the night before and adding milk, egg and melted butter to the dough mix.

Then the Homemade Ketchup....easy and really really good!

Finally the Homemade Burger....a mixture of pork and beef. The pork helps keep the meat moist and stops it shrinking too much. A bit of seasoning and Voila !!

Assemble with candles and, as you see, one very happy little boy.....

If only he also liked cheese......
