Peach & Raspberry Smoothie | Annie Clarke | Wild Dish

Annie from one of our favourite blogs ‘Mind Body Bowl’ shows us how to make homemade almond milk to put in a peach and raspberry smoothie. This is perfect for those who don’t like banana but want a creamy smoothie.

INGREDIENTS (MAKES 1 LARGE SMOOTHIE)

ALMOND MILK:
1 CUP BLANCHED ALMONDS (SOAKED OVERNIGHT)
3 CUPS OF WATER

SMOOTHIE:
60G OF RASPBERRIES
2 SMALL PEACHES (OR 1 LARGE)
20G OF OATS
200 ML OF ALMOND MILK
2 TEASPOONS OF HEMP SEEDS
2 HEAPED TEASPOONS HEMP POWDER
METHOD
TO MAKE THE ALMOND MILK: BLEND THE BLANCHED ALMONDS AND WATER TOGETHER, AND THEN STRAIN. STORE THE MILK IN A SEALED BOTTLE.

TO MAKE THE SMOOTHIE: PLACE ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN A BLENDER AND BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH. IF IT IS A LITTLE THICK, ADD WATER A LITTLE AT A TIME TO THIN IT OUT. IF YOU ARE MAKING THIS IN ADVANCE, SHAKE WELL BEFORE DRINKING. ENJOY!
