Dr. Joe DeMarco, chiropractor and owner of OcraMed Health, demonstrates how to perform fascial release work on 2 of your rotator cuff muscles. The infraspinatus and the teres minor. Both of these muscles have a primary function of performing external rotation of the shoulder.
Both of these muscles are commonly injured as the result of weight training. Fascial adhesions can build up in these muscles and result in restricted motion and pain.
Using a massage ball, Dr. Joe demonstrates simple, at home, techniques for releasing adhesions in the infraspinatus and teres minor.
