How To Play Stephen Stills' 4+20: Travis Picking to the Rescue

A simple Travis-picking "pattern" is used in this song. This video provides that pattern as well as the seven 2-finger chord shapes in this song.The chord shapes are simple but because this song is in an alternate tuning (DADDAD), the chord shapes will be foreign to you. As a former college teacher, I learned that students learn in different ways. Some prefer demonstrations, while others do better with visual aids (illustrations, chord diagrams, picking patterns) all provided in this lesson. The third group of students utilize their sense of hearing and depend more on listening to the instructor, absorbing more in that way, This video lesson will utilize all three of these techniques.
