Travis Picking for Beginners

Travis Picking is one of the most recognizable finger picking techniques on the guitar. It is predominantly a country/ folk fingerstyle guitar technique, but these days you hear it used in many genres of music.

This week I show how to play the basic Travis Picking technique, then introduce 2 simple variations.
