Airbnb Crash about to hit New York (50% drop in revenues upstate)

The Airbnb crash is hitting states like New York. Where Airbnb revenues are down nearly 50% in upstate cities like Hudson which boomed during the pandemic.

Now fewer people are traveling them and there's more Airbnb listings. Which is causing revenue to decline. A trend which has the potential to crash the local housing market.

Because in Hudson there are nearly 4x more homes listed on Airbnb and VRBO than homes listed for sale. So it will only take a small share of those owners selling to create a huge increased in inventory.

Watch out for this Airbnb crash to continue playing out over the second half of 2023, especially in upstate New York.
