Home Prices in San Diego keep going up to due to a lack of inventory on the market.
With the typical price of a house in San Diego recently increasing to $900,000 at the end of 2023. Meaning that at today's mortgage rates the average buyer needs to spend over $6,000/month on their monthly house payment.

A level that is clearly not sustainable. However, in order for relief on prices to come in San Diego, we'll need to some more inventory hit the market. Because today the number of homes for sale is 50% below the long-term norms.
