'Australians look to integrity and principal': Teals will be 'punished' next election

Executive Council of Australian Jewry CEO Alex Ryvchin says Jewish people are “appalled and outraged” with two Teal MPs accusing Israel of war crimes and attempting to modify a motion supporting the nation reeling from horrific terror attacks.

Mr Ryvchin joined Sky News to discuss moves the Jewish community had taken against the two Teal MPs
Kylea Tink and Sophie Scamps including contacting their offices to let them know how the community felt about such a “moral lapse”.

“I don’t think it will be just the Jewish community that has its say on this issue at the next election, all Australians, all voters look to integrity and principal,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“They acted so shockingly, showed such a moral lapse in a critical time, in a time where Jewish people are hurting.

“They’ll be punished at the polls next time.”
