How Long Does it Take to Get Band 7? [IELTS Advice]

Every week, at least three people ask me, "How long will it take me to get band 7 in IELTS?" It's a difficult question to answer because everyone is different. Someone who has a band 5 will take much longer to get to band 7 than someone who's at band 6.5. Likewise, someone with lots of time and energy will improve much quicker than someone who has no free time.
