Lexical Resource: Everything you NEED to Know
In the IELTS writing and speaking tests, you are assigned 25% of your grade due to your performance in Lexical Resource. But what does that mean?
Put simply, Lexical Resource means your vocabulary, but actually it is a lot more complicated than most people think, and there are many myths surrounding it.
The aim of this video is to give you honest and simple information about what Lexical Resource really means and how you can prepare for your next IELTS exam by understanding it better. Along the way, I will tell you some things to avoid and give you some advice on how to study more effectively.
For example, did you know that it's a huge waste of time to find really obscure words and use them in your answers, or that you probably shouldn't try to memorise long lists of vocabulary?
I know that you are probably busy, so here are some chapters so you can skip ahead to a relevant part of the video if you don't have time to sit through all of it.
