Jed Sanderson, also known as Mod Jed, almost got away with the heist of a lifetime. Employed by Jagex, the company that makes Runescape, he was able to access back-end developer tools to hack into players accounts, and make off with their hard-earned gold. Given the liquidity of Runescape gold, he could have easily flipped this for over $250,000 - but that isn't all. Many people in the Runescape community believe he also helped leak info to his clan, Reign of Terror, to help them lock down the highly-lucrative revenant caves, as well as he providing information that could well have lead to their victory in multiple official Deadman mode tournaments. In this video, we explore the allegations made against him - and the misbehavior that led to his firing.
