Regional problems must be solved by regional countries, said Iran's President.

On Sunday, June 19, Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi officially welcome Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and hosted him in the historical Saadabad palace.

During the ceremony, a 2-decade cooperation document was signed between Iran and Kazakhstan.

Raisi and his counterpart held talks about political and commercial aspects of bilateral and international concerns. Raisi uttered: "at the first stage of this very collaboration, we intend to reach 3 billion financial trade assets".

Both parties implied their concern over the consistent peace in the region. Iranian President underlined that the problems of this region and the problems arising from other regions should be solved by authorities, officials, and at last, the people of those regions.”

In this frame, Raisi mentioned the forgoing debate about Afghanistan and said “We (Iran and Kazakhstan) share the same fathom with regard to Afghanistan. We believe that a comprehensive government must govern Afghanistan which fulfills the burden of representation of all the ethnic and political groups of Afghanistan.” Moreover, Tokayev added, “Kazakhstan and Iran shall corporate to fulfill the integrity, immutability, and peace in the region”.

In the end, President Tokayev invited his counterpart to participate in the upcoming negation that will be held in Kazakhstan.
