Iranian FM spox:'Any aggression toward IRGC faces consequences'

Iranian FM Spox Nasser Kanaani said 'Iran is interested in the EU quitting this emotional and challenging atmosphere', in his weekly presser in Tehran on Monday.

Kanaani elaborated on several significant developments including the situation of the negotiation for reviving the JCPOA, the EU's new sanctions on Iran, Iran's reciprocal actions against the EU, and other subjects.

He also remarked on the continuation of Iran and the IAEA diplomatic relations. He declared that the travel of the IAEA's General Director to Iran will be conducted considering the process of negotiation and technical affairs.

He marked the EU's Parliament resolution labeling the IRGC as a terrorist organization and said, “Any kind of aggression on the IRGC whatever it be, will be perceived as aggression on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the aggressor will face the results and consequences of it, There is no doubt about it.”
