My 6 Favorite Muscle Building Isometric Exercises for Bar and Chain Devices

Bar and chain isometrics are some of the best exercises for building muscle and strength as quickly as possible. Here are 4 of my current favorites plus 2 supplemental isometric arm exercises.

Sample routine:
Complete each exercise for 4 sets holding for 7 seconds with 20 seconds of rest between each set in this order:
Deadlift
Zercher lunge
Seated Row
Chest Press

Finish with 3 sets of holding for 12 seconds with 15 seconds of rest between:
Drag curl
Triceps kick-back
