Punda Maria Camp does have one of the best bird/animal watching hides in the Kruger National Park. During the dry season, this is really worth a visit. The Camp is located in the far north of The Park. Not many visitors visit the camp due to its remote location. But the dry season is good for large herds of animals and the rainy season is extremely good for birding around the river areas and in the camp at self. Different species of birds can be found to the species down in the south this makes this part of the Park a real gem for the nature enthusiast.
