Deke Dickerson, Tommy Emmanuel, and Eddie Pennington Perform "Cannonball Rag"
Last year during AmericanaFest, the Museum celebrated Country Music Hall of Fame member Merle Travis with a conversation and performance presented in partnership with the Americana Music Association. The program explores the musician’s life, work, and legacy and features special guests Deke Dickerson, co-author of the 2022 book “Sixteen Tons: The Merle Travis Story,” master guitarists Tommy Emmanuel and Eddie Pennington, and Travis’s daughters Cindy Travis and Merlene Travis-Maggini. In this clip from the program, Dickerson, Emmanuel, and Pennington perform the Travis song "Cannonball Rag."
