Dave Alvin on Playing Farm Aid in 1985
Earlier this year, Dave Alvin, founding member of the Blasters and the Knitters, visited the Museum to discuss his pivotal role in roots-rock and punk-rock communities in Los Angeles in the 1980s and ‘90s. In this clip from the program, he recalls his favorite memories of playing Farm Aid in 1985.
