Kostas Lazarides, known professionally as Kostas, was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019. His songs have been recorded by the Chicks, Holly Dunn, Sammy Kershaw, the Mavericks, Martina McBride, McBride & the Ride, Jo Dee Messina, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, and Country Music Hall of Fame members Marty Stuart and Patty Loveless.
