Here, Dr Tchilingirian describes the potential for instability in the Caucasus, a region home to numerous ethnic groups, in the wake of the Soviet Union’s collapse. This clip provides a basis for understanding conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which has been renewed in 2020 with new fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
