A Live Conversation with Clarissa Ward
The Lafayette Club interviews Clarissa Ward in a live event as part of its 2021 Online Lecture Series.
Now serving as CNN’s chief international correspondent, Clarissa Ward has reported from across the globe for close to two decades. In her career, she has covered events as diverse as wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, revolutions in Syria and Ukraine, the plight of Chinese civil rights activist Cheng Guangcheng, and the recent poisoning of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny. Ward has received numerous awards for her work, including a Peabody Award and seven Emmy Awards. Her book, “On All Fronts: The Education of a Journalist,” was released in 2020.
