Discussing the Rise of China with Dr Chris Ogden
Mr Chris Ogden is a senior lecturer at the University of St Andrews. He is a researcher and author. His recent book “China and India: Asia’s Emergent Great Powers” focuses on great power politics and China and India’s rise to worldwide importance. He specialises in great power politics, foreign policy and nationalism.
Mr Ogden is also concerned with the role of norms and identity in International Relations, and the analytical uses of social psychology. He has previously taught at the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow Durham, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2018, Mr Ogden founded the European Scholars of South Asian International Relations (ESSAIR) research network.
