Posen Slavski Kolach

This bread we make for any Saint holidays 
Today I made it for Saint Nicholas
Supposed to be vegan with no dairy product and that’s how I made it

Recipe
Activate the yeast first with
3 tsp dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1-2 tbsp flour
100 ml warm water

Dough
1 kg flour
1 tbsp salt
500 ml warm water
1 tbsp holy water 
70 ml oil

Oil to brush the top 
You can mix it with vegan butter 

Designs
100 g flour
2-3 tbsp corn starch
Cold water is needed
Should be a hard dough

To glue the designs ;
Make a paste with
Flour and Water

 Description 
Activate the yeast
Make the dough let it rise to double the size 
You can knead it with your hands or you can use a mixer 

When it doubles the size, knead it gently
Put it in the pot or baking pan ,you can make it however you want it

Brush it with the oil
Let it rise 

Preheat the oven on 400° 
Bake it for 15 minutes and turn the stove down to 350°. Bake it for another 30 minutes or till it gets golden Brown ,depends on your oven

When it’s done, take it out of the pan, put it on the flat pan, and glue the designs put it back in the oven and bake it for another 10 minutes 

Take it to church. Let the priest bless it ,take it home and enjoy it with your family. May God bless you 🙏
