Carb up before show day | Last training session | 1 week out

Here we are... the final week of my prep! This video is one week out from my first mens physique show with the UKDFBA. I have been dieting since April, which kind of seems like forever. The process has been a steady and quite a consistent drop from the get go, only really starting to stick in the last couple of weeks.

The video shows the last few preparations I have been making in the lead up to the show. I have food prepared for my carb up/ re-feed before the show and even all the treats and goodies I want to consume after the show. Some of the food in the thumbnail is for the carb up and some will have to be saved for afterwards, like the crisps and waffles. Once the final check in has been completed, it is time to start munching though the rice crispy squares and jam on rice cakes. The carb up before show day begins!

One fo the more awkward things to get sorted for the show is all the body hair. A little manscaping was in order to remove my body hair to be ready for the tanning on Friday. I trimmed the majority of the hair and decided I would do a little test patch on each leg (where my shorts would hide) to see what worked best - shaving vs Veet. I can safely say, the Veet did absolutely nothing... I don't think i removed a single hair if i'm honest. I decided to shave all over instead as it was the only one that was going to work for this.
