This is the seventh part of FreeCAD Draft Intermediate Course, where intermediate users learn how to create a 2D architectural floor plan using the Draft Workbench. Even though it is meant for intermediate users, beginners should be able to follow the course too. The knowledge gained in this course should enable the participants to use FreeCAD as a drafting software for architectural projects.

The seventh part of the course covers creation of dimensions in a technical drawing. Viewers will learn how to create linear dimensions, how to edit them and how to set up their graphical properties such as text height, arrow symbol style and size, extension and dimension line setting and other options. Creation of dimension style is is also demonstrated. To effectively place large number of dimensions in one line, chained mode is explained.
