This is the sixth part of FreeCAD Draft Intermediate Course, where intermediate users learn how to create a 2D architectural floor plan using the Draft Workbench. Even though it is meant for intermediate users, beginners should be able to follow the course too. The knowledge gained in this course should enable the participants to use FreeCAD as a drafting software for architectural projects.

The sixth part of the course covers the creation of text objects. The Draft Text tool is used for this purpose. The course explains how to create text and how to edit it’s height and position. The default text settings are also covered.
