In this podcast, Prof Balram Gupta highlights the impact of wit and humour in a court. He then brings out the need for judgements to be written in simple language. Legal writings should be in short sentences. Easy to understand. Lastly, he explains the role and significance of the practice to appoint Judicial Ombudsman by recalling a befitting example.

Prof Balram Gupta was a product of Punjab University, Chandigarh. He started teaching there and rose to be a Professor of Law and later Chairman of Department of Laws. He had also served as Dean faculty of law at GNDU University, Amritsar. Subsequently, he shifted to law practice and was designated a Senior Advocate by Punjab and Haryana High Court. his book titled "My l Journey with Law and Justice" published by Law and Justice Publishing Company makes an interesting read.
