RBA Governor intends to be ‘tough on inflation’

Former Liberal advisor David Gazard says the RBA Governor Michele Bullock has given a speech which signals her intentions to be “tough on inflation”.

The RBA Governor hinted that there may be a rate rise in November.

Mr Gazard told Sky News Australia that she is not going to “waste any time” in getting the inflationary number back within the acceptable band.

“She realises that the fate of the economy hangs off that.

“So she sent a signal today to the government.”
