Buying Property in Spain - Research.
I think the most important part before buying any property in Spain is to research - Do your Homework. The Internet is a great place to start. There are plenty of books on Buying Property in Spain and our local charity shop - is full of books on Buying Property in Spain.
Choose the area you want to live, book an airline ticket or even drive to Spain and visit. Come different times of the year, summer - August, it gets very hot and also winter - December/January, it gets very chilly in the evenings.
Once you decide this is the place for me, try renting first before buying a property to make sure it’s for you (3 to 6 months).

I’ve lived in Spain for three years, I’ve visited Spain for the past 30 years well before Spain joined the EU. Mostly in and around Malaga but choose to live in Camposol, just outside the town of Mazarron Murcia, Costa Clida, South East of Spain.
