Pere Ubu - Final Solution (bass cover)

For this #basslineteardown I've recorded a classic piece of US post-punk. Originally a Rocket From The Tombs composition, offshoot band Pere Ubu went on to record this well known version. It's been covered by a number of other bands including Peter Murphy and Living Colour, but none fully capture the vitality of this definitive recording - originally released in 1976, this version appears on the 'Terminal Tower' compilation of early Pere Ubu singles and B-sides.

Amp: Lehle Basswitch IQ DI and Ampeg PF-50T via Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 into PC
FX: mix of one clean channel straight from the Basswitch with some Compression and EQ and one with Aguilar TLC compressor and Darkglass Alpha-Omega Ultra EQ via the Ampeg with Ultra Lo EQ.
