Ever wonder where great picnic areas in Gatlinburg Tennessee can be found, or other fun things to do in Gatlinburg or near Pigeon Forge? Well, we lucked out and came across a place that had all the components of a scenic destination made for exploration, relaxing, and enjoying a packed lunch in the great outdoors of the Smoky mountains…not too far at all from downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

This park and picnic area is conveniently located near your trek towards The Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and very simple to get to.

Sarah’s packed the cooler with some goodies, the weather is near perfect and we are ready for a midday meal and some discovery time at a nifty park we’ve passed by many times on our way into drive the motor loop.

Grab a cold cut sandwich and tag along with us as we might just come across some gorgeous Gatlinburg scenery and other refreshing finds on our next Quest Capsule.
