Rex Richardson, 'Modinha' ('Seresta #4' - Liduino Pitombeira)

Rex Richardson (1962) is an American trumpet soloist and educator. He is known for his international tours with critically-acclaimed chamber ensemble Rhythm Brass and with the late jazz saxophonist Joe Henderson's Quintet. He has been described as 'one of the world’s most engaging and astonishingly versatile trumpeters', and 'among the very best trumpet soloists in the world today'.

He interprets 'Modinha', 1st movement of the 'Seresta #4', by the Brazilian composer and pianist Liduino Pitombeira (1962).
