Hunting edible spring mushrooms pheasant back and oyster mushrooms

I made another trip into the woods searching for morel mushrooms. I picked a completely new spot to see if I could find any from scratch just by looking for dead elm trees. While I didn't find any morels, I did find some very likely areas that may hold them a bit earlier or later.
I didn't come home empty handed and found a new mushroom that I had never picked before. The pheasant back is also known as Dryads saddle. It's best two identifying features are the feather
like scales and the distinct smell described as cucumber or watermelon rind. The oysters that i found were growing on a downed poplar tree. I ended up dehydrating most of the mushrooms and using some in stir fry.
