The Land: prepping the off grid cabin shack site, roofing the tool shed and planting berries

This trip to the land was all about prepping. A stop by at the Amish builder confirmed my shed was next in line to be built. I was concerned about a few spots in the driveway being wide enough for them to get the shed into the site. So I cut down a few more trees hoping that would provide ample room. Boy would I be wrong! The other priority project was finishing up the tool shed project. In the fall I had covered the roof with asphalt roofing felt but was waiting to finish it until spring. I ended up deciding to cover it with rolled roofing. That was the easiest and most economical way to protect it and provide a weather proof roof. Lastly, I used some old lumber to put together two raised beds. These I used to plant a couple of blueberry plants and some raspberry plants from my house. Hopefully the deer don't find them!
