I know I always say this- that I'm in a rush while publishing- but I actually really am at the moment.
As much as I want to leave you a lengthy and detailed letter, I haven't had a proper meal today yet due to the busy school things and also running errands for the last 4 hours. I wanted this to be up for you first and foremost- I want to begin this year's December Dailys on a good note with a swift momentum! Knowing me, I would be really discouraged if my very first vlog is late already. Anyway, I don't expect any of them to late at all, hopefully!
Thanks for sticking with me (especially through my raspy voice). I hope you enjoy this and come back every other day for the rest of the month! Can't wait to share with you what I have planned.
Not going to lie though, I do feel sort of anxious because this is the first time in 2 years I am living all by myself (my room mate is super busy and always in her studio space, so I only see her a few minutes a day literally!). And my cats are so kind and cuddly to me, which is more than I can ask for. I guess what I'm saying is that I just feel a weird nervousness to upload my life on the internet for some reason, even though I've been doing it over 6 years. I think it has to do with what I'm facing at school (assignment wise). I've been researching very difficult topics about corruption in the textiles and fashion manufacturing industry. I guess it's not that I expect it to be easy, or happy or something, but it's just stressful (understandingly). In some ways, i feel like I'm constantly trying to battle a nervousness inside me, but I keep trying to push and push because I know that I strongly believe in these things, so i just HAVE to keep true to myself no matter how uncomfortable things can get in the school and critique environment. And so, even when it comes to doing vlogs, because it's so much about my real life, I just feel extremely vulnerable and I'm doing my best to handle it.
The fine art works I'm developing has been a big part of my life at the moment, and I haven't been sharing that on youtube. Maybe because It's so difficult for me that I can't handle having to explain myself to the public internet about it yet.
Either way, it's a really fun and relaxing thing that I get to vlog, even during finals week. Thank you so much for reading this and being here.
