dear friends,
happy friday. hope you have a great weekend ahead! I am making good headway with my school work. I realized that each time I'm making my crochet sculpture, I don't vlog much because it is really static and slow, not extremely entertaining. But as we get closer to the final due date, I'll be working on it more and more. So I will come up with creative ways to document the process that's both effective and also not difficult on me when I am doing the crochet. Sometimes it's difficult to focus on the task at hand when half my mind is focused on the angle, the focus and the exposure, making sure none of those are off (because then I will hate myself when I am editing the footage).

I had a nice dinner today, and I look forward to a few more hours of crochet and sketching before bed! I just looked over to the bed and it's so cute. Prairie is curled up in her usual spot, and bambi is next to her, but thrown back all dramatic. I am really grateful for their company. Granted, bambi drives me nuts sometimes, but I remind myself that he is a kitten and they most certainly grow out of their clingy and energetic phases. So I do want to cherish it while it lasts. He really reminds me of Toby when he was young, and now Toby is 10.. I can't believe it...
It's very beautiful how a bond with cats, dogs, and any other pet is special in proving that love is universal, and doesn't require spoken language. I've been down lately, as I mention briefly in the video. It really takes a toll on me when the sun sets at 3:30 in the afternoon, so I make it a point to get up when the sun rises as well. For as long as I can remember, though, I've always found it very upsetting to get out of bed anytime after 10, for some reason it would throw me off for the entire day and I would be very down and somber. I guess it's just something about me.. It's hard when I want to talk to my friends and family, but when I actually do, I have very little energy to sustain nice conversations, or I have nothing good to contribute. My texts are always one word replies, and at times it feels unlike myself.
But these are all a part of life, and I'm over all still very content. I really enjoy my days and am very lucky for food, shelter, and education. I'm super grateful for internet! How different would my life be without this computer....
