Tegan Cochrane is a 3x Canadian national cycling champion who once had Olympic dreams. In 2016, she was selected to join Team Canada for track cycling and spent the next two years fully immersed in training at the nation's highest levels.

From the outside looking in, Tegan was living her dreams. But from the inside looking out, Tegan could tell that something was missing. In 2018, Tegan made the difficult decision to leave Team Canada, effectively leaving behind everything to which she had devoted so much.

In this clip of her interview with Julianne, Tegan speaks candidly about how she found closure from her decision to walk away —and that there's ultimately no such thing as a "sunk cost" at the end of the day.
