Backpacking Yellowstone's Thorofare/Two Ocean Plateau Full Video

This is a 7 day backpacking trip in Yellowstone National Park's Thorofare Region, the southeast corner of the park. We hike in from Nine Mile Trailhead along Yellowstone Lake's eastern shore, then down into the Thorofare. We off trail a short section along the Yellowstone River, then head up the Lynx Creek drainage to camp at Mariposa Lake. We hike over Two Ocean Plateau and around the southeast arm of Yellowstone Lake, before retracing our steps back up to the Nine Mile Trailhead. We did this trip back in September of 2016. If you are familiar with my other videos, this trip took place right after the Wind River Titcomb Basin trip, and right before the Fairylands trip. I thought I lost this footage, and never expected to make this video, but found it and threw it together.

I have shot video for 3 addition Thorofare trips, which include the more wild wilderness areas around the park. You can look for those to be published in the coming year. And I head in for an early season adventure thru here in a few weeks...................
