Virtual panel on Remembrance in a Digital Age
As with many things, the pandemic has forced us to reevaluate how we work and how we engage more digitally. That includes how we engage Canadians in the act of remembrance and recognition of Canada’s military.
One of the major goals of Veterans Affairs Canada’s new approach to commemoration is to help Canadians better understand how those who served Canada helped advance peace and security around the world. If you’d like to share your own thoughts on how Canada should commemorate newer generations of service members, we want to know! Visit https://letstalkveterans.ca/commemoration and let your voice be heard.
Today we will talk with three panelists who are experts in this digital field. We will discuss the future of commemoration as it relates to digital activities and initiatives, and explore new ways to educate and engage a younger audience in the virtual world.
