Ever wonder what the First World War trenches were like?

When many people think about the First World War, the first things that come to mind are the trenches. The Western Front ran for almost 1,000 kilometres across Belgium and northern France and consisted of opposing lines of trenches dug into the earth. Canadian soldiers spent years in the horrendous conditions of the front lines and our new video about life in the trenches features archival footage and narration that gives an idea what it was like to fight in this bloody conflict.
