In 2012, Kara Nichols disappeared, and for 10 years her cold case has remained an unsolved mystery. However, recent discoveries in early 2022 have led to her remains being found: she had been buried in a horse's grave in the farm of her alleged killer. Police arrested Joel Hollendorfer and are charging him with Kara Nichols' murder.
